MACON, GA – For the first time ever, Luther Williams Field will be the home to the Coastal Plain League All-Star Game on Monday, July 7, 2025. The Macon Bacon have officially launched the logo for the prestigious event, announced exclusive merchandise and tickets for the game are officially on sale. Skye Design Studios (skyedesignstudios.com) worked with the Bacon to execute the logo.

The Macon Bacon, since their inception, have always been devoted to sharing the history of the stadium they call home. A pivotal piece of Macon, Luther Williams Field is the second-oldest minor league ballpark in the nation, opening in 1929. This logo emphasizes the gritty, historic past of the stadium, while also highlighting the bright future of Macon Bacon Baseball.

“The Macon Bacon made our debut in 2018 right here in Middle Georgia,” said Brandon Raphael, Managing Partner & President of the Macon Bacon on the logo, its meaning and what this means to the organization. “Being the only team from the Coastal Plain League in Georgia, it means a lot to be able to share this historic stadium, in a historic league, in year eight of Bacon Baseball.”

“The logo needed to show off the historic and rustic Luther Williams brick with the gates; we wanted that to be the focal point of it all,” Raphael said. “There is no better time than during the International Cherry Blossom Festival to launch the logo, as Macon is the Cherry Blossom capital of the world. The blue in the banner symbolizes the Ocmulgee River running through our city. Finally, our logo would not be complete without our 7-foot-tall strip of Bacon, Kevin piecing it all together.”
