Co-Pitchers of the Week (Week 1)
Trevor Bradley (Georgia Gwinnett) Lexington County: Bradley was dominant out of the pen, notching three saves in three appearances for the Blowfish. He finished the week with a perfect 0.00 ERA allowing only one hit over 4 1/3 innings to go along with six strikeouts and one walk for a 0.46 WHIP and .067 opponent’s batting average.
Corey Beard (Delta State) Savannah: Beard pitched a complete-game nine-inning shutout versus the Florence RedWolves on June 3. The junior out of Delta State allowed only five hits and one walk while striking out four for a 0.67 WHIP and .161 opponent’s batting average.

Pitcher of the Week (Week 2)
Alex Evans (UT-Martin) Forest City: On the mound, Evans was dominant for the Owls pitching a complete-game nine-inning shutout versus the Florence RedWolves on June 7.  The junior out of UT-Martin allowed only four hits, all singles, while striking out eight and walking none for a .133 opponent’s batting average and 0.44 WHIP.

Pitcher of the Week (Week 3)
Adam Scott (Wofford) Savannah: On the mound, Scott pitched a seven-inning complete game shutout in the first game of a double header with Gastonia on June 15. The Wofford sophomore earned the win, allowing only five hits, all singles, while striking out six for a .200 opponent’s batting average and 1.00 WHIP.

Pitcher of the Week (Week 4)
Jake Rudnicki (Ohio) Florence: On the mound, Rudnicki pitched a seven-inning complete game for the RedWolves versus Lexington County in the first game of a double header on June 25. The junior from Ohio University got the win, allowing only two hits while walking one and striking out six for a .100 opponent’s batting average.

Pitcher of the Week (Week 5)
Marcus Reyes (San Diego State) Martinsville: On the mound, Reyes pitched seven innings, without an earned run, for the Mustangs on June 29 versus the High Point-Thomasville HiToms. The junior out of San Diego State earned the win allowing four hits, all singles, while striking out eight and walking none for a .167 opponent’s batting average.

Pitcher of the Week (Week 6)
Garrett Lovord (Clemson) Savannah: On the mound, Lovorn was sensational on July 8 pitching a complete-game for the Bananas versus the Lexington County Blowfish. The junior out of Clemson allowed only four hits and no earned runs while walking none and striking out two for a .138 opponent’s batting average and .444 WHIP.

Pitcher of the Week (Week 7)

Connor Riley (USC-Aiken) Wilmington: On the mound, Riley continued his historic pace with a sensational 16 strikeout performance over seven-innings of shutout work, allowing only four hits and earning the win versus Wilson on July 15. The junior from USC-Aiken has been a force all season for the Sharks as he is currently on pace to finish near the top of the CPL All-Time lists in total strikeouts and strikeouts per nine innings for a single season. Currently the right-hander has 80 strikeouts in 50 2/3 innings to go along with a 14.2 SO/9 rate.

Pitcher of the Week (Week 8)

Chaz Miller (Bluefield College) Forest City: On the mound, Miller showed why he is an All-Star closer, tossing three shut-out innings in three appearances, not allowing a hit and walking only one while striking out three for a .333 WHIP. The junior out of Bluefield College picked up three more saves to push his total to a league leading 10 on the year.

Pitcher of the Week (Week 9)

Canaan Cropper (South Carolina) Lexington County: On the mound, Cropper was dominant for the Blowfish on July 26 as he held the Florence RedWolves scoreless over eight innings while striking out ten for a .077 opponent’s batting average. The South Carolina junior earned the win allowing only two walks and two hits on the night for a .500 WHIP.

Pitcher of the Week (Week 10)

Daniel Poidomani (Stevens Institute of Technology) Forest City: On the mound, Poidomani was a workhorse for the Owls making three appearances on the week as the team fought for their playoff lives. The rising-sophomore at Stevens Institute of Technology, held a perfect 0.00 ERA on the week allowing only five hits over 13 total innings while striking out 14 for a .119 opponent’s batting average. His most impressive performance on the week came in his start on August 8 versus Asheboro as he tossed eight shutout innings allowing only two hits and striking out ten.
