Trevor Bradley (Georgia Gwinnett) Lexington County: Bradley was dominant out of the pen, notching three saves in three appearances for the Blowfish. He finished the week with a perfect 0.00 ERA allowing only one hit over 4 1/3 innings to go along with six strikeouts and one walk for a 0.46 WHIP and .067 opponent’s batting average.
Corey Beard (Delta State) Savannah: Beard pitched a complete-game nine-inning shutout versus the Florence RedWolves on June 3. The junior out of Delta State allowed only five hits and one walk while striking out four for a 0.67 WHIP and .161 opponent’s batting average.
Pitcher of the Week (Week 2)
Alex Evans (UT-Martin) Forest City: On the mound, Evans was dominant for the Owls pitching a complete-game nine-inning shutout versus the Florence RedWolves on June 7. The junior out of UT-Martin allowed only four hits, all singles, while striking out eight and walking none for a .133 opponent’s batting average and 0.44 WHIP.
Pitcher of the Week (Week 3)
Adam Scott (Wofford) Savannah: On the mound, Scott pitched a seven-inning complete game shutout in the first game of a double header with Gastonia on June 15. The Wofford sophomore earned the win, allowing only five hits, all singles, while striking out six for a .200 opponent’s batting average and 1.00 WHIP.
Pitcher of the Week (Week 4)
Jake Rudnicki (Ohio) Florence: On the mound, Rudnicki pitched a seven-inning complete game for the RedWolves versus Lexington County in the first game of a double header on June 25. The junior from Ohio University got the win, allowing only two hits while walking one and striking out six for a .100 opponent’s batting average.
Pitcher of the Week (Week 5)
Marcus Reyes (San Diego State) Martinsville: On the mound, Reyes pitched seven innings, without an earned run, for the Mustangs on June 29 versus the High Point-Thomasville HiToms. The junior out of San Diego State earned the win allowing four hits, all singles, while striking out eight and walking none for a .167 opponent’s batting average.
Pitcher of the Week (Week 6)
Garrett Lovord (Clemson) Savannah: On the mound, Lovorn was sensational on July 8 pitching a complete-game for the Bananas versus the Lexington County Blowfish. The junior out of Clemson allowed only four hits and no earned runs while walking none and striking out two for a .138 opponent’s batting average and .444 WHIP.
Pitcher of the Week (Week 7)
Connor Riley (USC-Aiken) Wilmington: On the mound, Riley continued his historic pace with a sensational 16 strikeout performance over seven-innings of shutout work, allowing only four hits and earning the win versus Wilson on July 15. The junior from USC-Aiken has been a force all season for the Sharks as he is currently on pace to finish near the top of the CPL All-Time lists in total strikeouts and strikeouts per nine innings for a single season. Currently the right-hander has 80 strikeouts in 50 2/3 innings to go along with a 14.2 SO/9 rate.
Pitcher of the Week (Week 8)
Chaz Miller (Bluefield College) Forest City: On the mound, Miller showed why he is an All-Star closer, tossing three shut-out innings in three appearances, not allowing a hit and walking only one while striking out three for a .333 WHIP. The junior out of Bluefield College picked up three more saves to push his total to a league leading 10 on the year.
Pitcher of the Week (Week 9)
Canaan Cropper (South Carolina) Lexington County: On the mound, Cropper was dominant for the Blowfish on July 26 as he held the Florence RedWolves scoreless over eight innings while striking out ten for a .077 opponent’s batting average. The South Carolina junior earned the win allowing only two walks and two hits on the night for a .500 WHIP.
Pitcher of the Week (Week 10)
Daniel Poidomani (Stevens Institute of Technology) Forest City: On the mound, Poidomani was a workhorse for the Owls making three appearances on the week as the team fought for their playoff lives. The rising-sophomore at Stevens Institute of Technology, held a perfect 0.00 ERA on the week allowing only five hits over 13 total innings while striking out 14 for a .119 opponent’s batting average. His most impressive performance on the week came in his start on August 8 versus Asheboro as he tossed eight shutout innings allowing only two hits and striking out ten.
Hitter of the Week (Week 1)
Jacob Long (Northwestern Oklahoma State) Martinsville: Long, a junior out of Northwestern Oklahoma State, got off to a hot start batting .474 over five starts for the Mustangs. The outfielder notched nine total hits, with two doubles, one triple, one home run and nine RBI for a .842 slugging percentage. He also drew four walks to push his on-base percentage to an impressive .565.
Hitter of the Week (Week 2)
Andrew Webster (Barton) Wilson: Webster, a junior at Barton, was a force in the Tobs lineup this week batting .480 across six games and 25 at-bats. The versatile infielder notched 12 total hits, with half of those being of the extra-base variety, as he hit five doubles, one home run and seven RBI on the week for 20 total bases and a .800 slugging percentage.
Hitter of the Week (Week 3)
Zac Almond (Catawba) High Point-Thomasville: Almond, a sophomore out of Catawba, played in five games for the HiToms hitting an even. 500 on the week. The North Carolina native notched eight total hits, with one double, two home runs and six RBIs for a .938 slugging percentage. He also showed patience at the plate drawing two walks to push his on-base percentage to .556.
Hitter of the Week (Week 4)
Will Shepherd (Liberty) Peninsula: Shepherd, a junior out of Liberty, batted .571 over six starts for the Pilots. He totaled 12 hits with three doubles and 15 total bases for a .714 slugging percentage. The 5’10, 195-pound outfielder also showed an ability to get on-base, finishing the week with an even .600 on-base percentage, while also stealing three bases and scoring five runs.
Hitter of the Week (Week 5)
Jameson Hannah (Dallas Baptist) Savannah: Hannah, a freshman at Dallas Baptist, was a force for the Bananas in week five batting an even .500 across six games started. During that stretch he accumulated 11 hits, with three doubles, two home runs, 12 RBIs and 20 total bases for a .909 slugging percentage. The outfielder was also a catalyst on the bases, drawing seven walks and stealing four bases for a .633 on-base percentage on his way to scoring 10 runs.
Hitter of the Week (Week 6)
Tony Rosselli (Indiana State) Edenton: Rosselli, a red-shirt junior at Indiana State, went on a in week six batting .550 over five games played for the Steamers. He notched 11 total hits with over half being extra-base hits with three doubles and three home runs and seven RBIs for a 1.150 slugging percentage. Displaying an all-around game, Rosselli also drew two walks while stealing two bases and scoring seven runs to go along with his .565 on-base percentage.

Zachary Files (Florida International) Florence: Files, a junior at Florida International, was a catalyst in week seven for the RedWolves finishing the week with a .538 batting average across five games. During that span he managed four doubles, one home run and four RBIs for a 1.077 slugging percentage. Even more impressive was the infielders eye at the plate as he drew 13 walks on the week helping him steal five bases and score nine runs on his way to a .769 on-base percentage.
Hitter of the Week (Week 8)
Richard Cunningham (Baylor) Edenton: Cunningham, a redshirt-freshman at Baylor University, continued his All-Star campaign with a .533 batting average over six games played for the Steamers. During that span he racked up 13 total hits with two doubles, one home run and three RBIs for 18 total bases and a .720 slugging percentage. The leadoff man did his job setting the table as well, boasting a .552 on-base percentage on his way to two stolen bases and seven runs scored.
Hitter of the Week (Week 9)
Hunter Slater (Southern Mississippi) High Point-Thomasville: Slater, a red-shirt freshman at Southern Miss, was a force at the plate for the HiToms in week nine, finishing with a .480 average over six games played. Across that span, Slater managed 12 hits in 25 at-bats with one triple and one home run for 17 total bases and three RBIs for a .680 slugging percentage. The infielder also drew two walks for a .519 on-base percentage, helping him score six runs on the week.
Hitter of the Week (Week 10)
Dillon Stewart (UNC Greensboro) Holly Springs: Stewart, a rising senior at UNC-Greensboro, finished an impressive season for the Salamanders on a tear in week ten, batting .469 over seven games played. Across those games the CPL All-Star notched 15 total hits with two doubles, one triple, three home runs for eight RBIs and 28 total bases, pushing his slugging percentage to .875. The outfielder also drew one walk and stole a base on his way to a .485 on-base percentage and five runs scored.
