
DURHAM, N.C. – The Coastal Plain League (CPL) announced today that Macon infielder Stewart Puckett and Lexington County pitcher Kyle Stock were selected as the TrackMan CPL Hitter and Pitcher of the Week respectively for Week 3 (June 14-20) of the 2026 season.
Puckett, a redshirt junior infielder at South Alabama, had an impressive week for the Bacon. He not only led the league with an incredible .688 average, he also had the week’s best numbers in slugging percentage (1.438), on-base percentage (.647), and OPS (2.085). His 11 hits were the second-highest last week. Puckett also racked up three doubles and three home runs on his way to totaling eight runs scored and 8 RBIs. On the season, Puckett, is slashing .605/.610/1.105 with eight doubles, a triple, and 3 homers. He’s also been responsible for 14 runs scored and 16 RBIs for the Bacon.
Meanwhile, Stock made the most of his sole appearance on the bump for the Blowfish. The sophomore right-hander went seven innings in relief, giving up just one run on five hits to finish with a 1.29 ERA. He didn’t issue a single walk, and struck out 10, the second-highest mark on the week. The 6-1, 195-pound Stock from USC Aiken also sported a WHIP of 0.71 and a K/9 of 12.86. Thus far on the summer, he is 2-0 with a 2.74 ERA across 23 complete innings. In that time, he has only walked seven while striking out 23.
