RPP Baseball (RPP) and the Coastal Plain League (CPL) are excited to announce a first-of-its-kind partnership that will see RPP offer remote training services to participating athletes in the CPL.

“We are thrilled to announce our partnership with RPP Baseball,” said Chip Allen, Commissioner of the Coastal Plain League. “This collaboration will provide athletes in the Coastal Plain League with access to top-tier remote training services that will help them maintain their mobility and strength throughout the summer season. RPP Baseball is a leader in the field of baseball training, and we believe that this partnership will further differentiate the Coastal Plain League from other leagues. We look forward to seeing the benefits that this program will bring to our athletes and teams.”

Starting with the upcoming 2023 season, for participating athletes, training services will include an initial screening evaluation, monthly strength training programs, throwing programs, and a nutritional guideline. The program will be designed around playing a summer schedule and its sole purpose is to maintain the athlete’s mobility, strength and help with throwing workload management as the summer progresses.

“We are very excited about this partnership and the prospects of helping CPL athletes achieve their goals during the summer months,” said Nunzio Signore, owner at RPP Baseball. “The CPL is one of the premier summer collegiate baseball leagues in the country and we look forward to becoming a part of their family of services.”

Signore is no stranger to training baseball players and comes highly recommended by New York Yankees General Manager Brian Cashman, as well as Wake Forest Pitching Coach Corey Muscara. He has served as an MLB consultant and has presented at many national seminars and clinics including Pitch-a-Palooza, Be the Best, Inside Baseball and the Wake Forest Bridge Seminar. He is also a frequent lecturer at numerous college Exercise Science Departments such as Penn State, Springfield College, and Cortland University.

“The CPL and RPP Baseball are two of the premier programs in the country and having them come together in this fashion is a win-win for everyone,” said Corey Muscara, Pitching Coach at Wake Forest. “Sending your athletes to participate in a summer program, and making sure they receive an excellent experience is an important decision for any college coach and student-athlete. This partnership makes it a slam dunk.”
