The Coastal Plain League announced this afternoon that Wilson’s Mason Sykes (Toledo) has been selected to join the East CPL All-Stars for the 2022 All-Star Game this Sunday, July 10 in Holly Springs, N.C.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, fellow Tobs player, Aaron Smigelski (Rice) will not be able to participate on Sunday. Thus, there are some shifts to the East roster. Tabor Mongero (Wilmington/UNC Wilmington) will now be the starter at third base. Backing him up will be Jacob McCaskey (Wilson/California Univ. of Pennsylvania), who is shifting from the DH/UTL spot. Then, Sykes will now be listed as the third DH/UTL for the summer classic.
