The Coastal Plain League announced January 23 that its 2012 All-Star Game will be hosted by the Wilson Tobs. The All-Star Fan Fest will begin on July 22, while the All-Star Game will be held the night of July 23 at Historic Fleming Stadium. For the official release, please go here.

The CPL has unveiled its 2012 schedule. Opening Day is May 29! The regular season runs through August 2, highlighted by the 2012 All-Star Game on July 23. The Petitt Cup playoffs run from August 4-14. For the release and more details on the 2012 schedule, please go here.

The Coastal Plain League and the Professional Baseball Umpire Corp (PBUC), a Minor League Baseball wholly owned subsidiary, have extended their working agreement to provide PBUC reserve umpires to the CPL through the 2014 season.
