FLORENCE, SC – The Florence Flamingos unveiled the official logo for the 2026 Coastal Plain League All-Star Spotlight this afternoon. The two-day event will be hosted in Florence, South Carolina on July 6 and 7, including the All-Star Game itself on Tuesday night.

For the first time, Carolina Bank Field will be the home to the Coastal Plain League All-Star Spotlight. This will be the first time in 11 seasons in which the league All-Star Game will be played in Florence, and third overall (2004, 2015). The Flamingos partnered with New Jersey-based agency SKYE (skye.design), leaders in sport branding.

The Florence Flamingos are proud of being an innovative baseball organization, one that prides itself on combining the history of the game of baseball and a creative and fun environment for fans of all ages. This logo emphasizes the fun, exciting, and tiki bar feels of the Flamingos, while also highlighting their alter-ego of the PeeDee Pecans, which shows honor to the South Carolina Pecan Festival that takes place annually n November right here in Florence.

“The logo needed to be different,” said Team President Mitchell Lister. “We wanted to create a tiki vibe to bring out the fun of the Flamingos. We also wanted to make sure we honored the South Carolina Pecan Festival, which brings over 50,000 people to downtown Florence. Our logo would not be complete without the most fun mascot in sports, Flo, to finish it all.”

The All-Star Spotlight is the Coastal Plain League’s marquee event of the season, featuring elite players from across all teams in the league. The multi-day celebration will include fan-friendly festivities, skills competitions, and the All-Star Game itself — all set in the unique and electric atmosphere of Carolina Bank Field.

“All-Star is about giving fans something fun and unforgettable each season,” said Skye Dillon, SKYE Founder. “It’s the perfect stage to push the limits a bit, so we leaned all the way into the Flamingos’ bold personality with a tiki beach theme that’s over-the-top, vibrant, and a perfect fit for summer baseball fun in South Carolina.”

Additional details — including ticket packages, event schedules, and community events — will be announced in the coming months. Stay tuned to florenceflamingos.com and our socials for the latest information.
