The Western Carolina right-hander went seven shutout innings on the night, allowing only three hits and no runs while striking out 11 batters to earn the win. This marked both his longest and most successful outing of the season helping Corn to a 3.06 ERA and 38 strikeouts in 29.1 inning pitched with one week left to go.
