2001 Diamond CPL Defensive Player of the Year:

Jared Doyle (James Madison) Durham Americans
Jared Doyle was quite consistent through the entire season. He finished with a 7-1 record and a 1.29 ERA, after pitching 70 innings. Doyle surrendered 45 hits overall and 12 runs, 10 of which were earned. He walked 31 and struck out a league-high 80.
