The newest team in the Coastal Plain League now has a hot new look. In a video posted to their social media pages, the Tri-City Chili Peppers revealed several different images including a circular seal featuring three brightly-colored peppers.
“When we think ‘chili peppers’, we think ‘heat’ and we think ‘vibrant’, said General Manager Steve Taggart. “We’ve ended up with a bright, bold design that we think is fun and playful.”
The new identity was developed by Skye Design Studios (www.sdsbranding.com), a national leader in sport branding and identity design based in Florham Park, New Jersey. The concept was centered around representing the Tri-Cities area.
“The name ‘Tri-City’ enabled us to leverage the concept of community into the identity,” said Skye Dillon of Skye Designs Studios. “Three cities, three peppers – each with its own unique look, all part of the same team. It tells a story of unity, teamwork, and diversity. And most of all, it’s fun.”
Along with the imaging reveal, the team also announced that ticket memberships as well as merchandise were now available for sale on the team’s website, chilipeppersbaseball.com.
